2015 Hair Resolutions


Getting started on those 2015 New Years resolutions? Every stylist wants his or her client to have healthy gorgeous hair. The Style Bar wants to help you make healthy hair resolutions. Here are some tips from our stylists for healthy hair in 2015!

1. Wash your hair properly: When washing your hair massage the shampoo evenly through your hair till a thick layer of foam is formed. Wash and repeat this step to ensure a deep clean. When applying conditioner be gentle. Apply from scalp to ends and massage lightly. We use Oribe Shampoo and Conditioner in our salon and highly recommend it.

2. Eat right for your hair: Your diet is also a big part of how healthy hair can be. Increasing fruits, vegetables and protein-rich foods will help thicken and give shine to hair. They help roots absorb nutrients and enhance hair growth.

3. Sleep tight: Another major way to improve hair healthy is protecting your hair at night. This is a simple step that will help prevent unwanted frizz and tangles. Sleeping on a satin pillowcase or even a satin scarf will help lock in moisture.

4. Get into a routine: Establishing a regular hair regimen will keep you on track to healthy hair. Creating a routine for washing, conditioning, styling, trimming and other hair maintenance tasks will contribute to your healthy hair resolution.
