The Style Bar Staff Picks: New York Fashion Week

From hairstyles to heels, the high fashion world is known to display some of the most unique looks on the runway. The Fall/Winter New York Fashion Week held February 6th – 13th delivered by bringing the best garments and hairstyles in the world to the Big Apple. From head to toe, high fashion designers use models as a canvas for their artwork. Each concept is well thought out ahead of time to ensure every hairstyle works together to create an entire collection. Here are The Style Bar’s favorite high fashion hairstyles at this season’s New York Fashion Week.

Blunt Cut with a Headband – Marc Jacobs paired his neutral colored garments on the models with a short, blunt hairstyle with similar color tones that compliments the outfits flawlessly.


Side Swept Bangs – BCBG Maxazria – The models for BCBG shined in their exaggerated side swept styles.

Sleek and Simple Bun – Diane Von Furstenberg chose the perfect simple hairstyle to pair with her strikingly patterned garments.

An Every Day Style – Lacoste used hairstyles on their models that real women can relate to. These models rocked an everyday look to show off the label’s new collection.


High Pony – Meskita’s models rocked a high pony with a headband and a very thick accessory to hold the hair in place without a trace of frizz in sight!
